Seedance content policy

Prohibited content

You may not use Seedancee to create, upload as a reference, or publish any of the following. Attempting to do so may result in blocked jobs, removal of content, and suspension or termination of your account. Where the law requires, we report to the relevant authorities.

• Sexual content involving minors, or content that sexualises anyone who is or appears to be under 18, in any style including animation. This is reported to the appropriate authorities without exception.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery: sexual or nude depictions of real people without their documented consent, including 'undressing' edits of uploaded photos.
• Deepfakes and impersonation: realistic depictions of real, identifiable people (public figures or private individuals) saying or doing things they did not, without their consent, or content presented as authentic footage of them.
• Voice cloning of a real person from reference audio without that person's consent.
• Copyrighted characters, artwork, footage or music reproduced without authorisation, including prompts that request a named copyrighted character or a recognisable brand's protected design.
• Content that incites or glorifies violence against people or groups, or that harasses, threatens or demeans individuals.
• Content that promotes self-harm, eating disorders or dangerous activities as instructions.
• Fraud and deception: fake news footage, forged documents or evidence, scam material, or content designed to manipulate elections or emergencies.
• Sexually explicit content involving adults is not supported by the provider's moderation and will be blocked; Seedancee does not offer an adult mode.
• Any content that violates applicable law where you are or where we operate.

Grey areas and how we handle them

Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Seedancee account and generate content. If we learn that an account holder is under 18, we close the account. Where local law sets a higher age of digital consent, that age applies.

What happens when moderation triggers

   Before submission

   Some prompts and references are rejected in the workspace with an explanation. No credits are reserved.

2. 02

   At the provider

   If the provider's safety system rejects the job, it is reported as failed and reserved credits are released.

3. 03

   After generation

   Published clips are reviewed before they become publicly indexable. Reported clips are unpublished pending review.

4. 04

   Repeated attempts

   Accounts that repeatedly trigger the provider's safety filter are flagged for review by our team and may be restricted or suspended. Clear violations involving minors or non-consensual imagery result in immediate termination and, where required, reporting.

Reporting content

Use the report control on any public video page, or email support@seedancee.com with the video URL and the reason. For copyright complaints, use the process on our copyright page and email copyright@seedancee.com. We acknowledge reports and aim to act on clear violations quickly; complex cases take longer and we will tell you if so.

Appeals

If your content was removed or your account was actioned and you believe we got it wrong, email support@seedancee.com with the generation or video ID and your reasoning. A person reviews every appeal. We will reverse decisions when the content is within policy, and we will explain when it is not. Appeals do not apply to content involving minors or non-consensual intimate imagery.

Why we do not advertise 'uncensored Seedance'

Search demand exists for unrestricted generation. We do not serve it. The models are hosted and moderated by their provider, so a platform promising 'no restrictions' is either misrepresenting what it runs or violating its provider agreement. Beyond that, the prohibited categories above cause real harm. Our positioning is a professional tool for original work, and the rules exist to keep it usable for that.
